The Schlage L9010 OMEA 605 is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to resist wear from constant use and abuse.
This lock offers ten functions in one universal case with field-reversible handing, eliminating the need to open the case for adjustment. It includes a break-away spindle for security and easy replacement, hub blocking plate to discourage spindle manipulation, and a fail-secure fusible link.
