The Schlage L9050B 06N 626 is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it withstands constant use and abuse with a fully wrapped steel case, all-metal zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and anti-friction components that reduce wear and tear.
This universal lock case offers ten functions in one design and accommodates beveled doors with floating mounting tabs. It features a break-away spindle for security and easy replacement, hub blocking plate to discourage spindle manipulation, and fail-secure mode via a spring-loaded fusible link.
