The Schlage L9056H is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock built for high-traffic environments like schools, hospitals, and factories. This ANSI Grade 1 lock features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to withstand constant use and abuse without compromising security or operation.
The L9056H accepts ten functions in one universal case and is field-reversible for either hand without opening the lock. Compatible with standard mortise applications, it includes a break-away spindle for easy replacement and fail-secure capability via a spring-loaded fusible link.
