The Schlage L9056P is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a fully wrapped steel case, all-metal zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and two-piece anti-friction tongue to reduce wear while withstanding constant use and abuse.
This universal lock case supports ten functions in one, with field-reversible handing, floating mounting tabs for beveled doors, and fail-secure capability via spring-loaded fusible link. Compatible with standard mortise applications; finish 626 is satin chrome.
