The Schlage L9070C is an ANSI Grade 1 extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic commercial environments like schools, hospitals, and factories. It features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and anti-friction tongue to withstand constant use and abuse while maintaining dependable operation.
This universal lock case offers ten functions in one and is field-reversible for left-hand or right-hand installation without opening the case. Floating mounting tabs accommodate beveled doors, and simple trim retrofit is possible with external spring cages.
