The Schlage L9080B is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock built for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. This Grade 1 certified lock features a fully wrapped steel case, anti-friction tongue, and break-away spindle to resist door edge attacks and prevent spindle manipulation while providing reliable security and easy maintenance.
The L9080B accepts ten different functions within a single case and accommodates beveled doors with floating mounting tabs. It is field-reversible for either hand without opening the lock.
