The Schlage L9080H 17N 626AM is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock built for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. It meets ANSI Grade 1 standards and features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to resist wear from constant use and abuse.
This lock offers ten functions in one universal case with field-reversible handing and floating mounting tabs for beveled doors.
