The Schlage L9080H is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case with zinc dichromate-plated components and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to minimize wear from constant daily use and abuse.
This universal lock case supports ten functions in one unit and is field-reversible without opening the case, simplifying installation and retrofits on beveled doors.
