The Schlage L9080R is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a fully wrapped steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to resist wear from constant daily use and abuse.
This lock supports ten functions in a universal case and accommodates beveled doors with floating mounting tabs. Field-reversible handing eliminates the need to open the case, and external spring cages simplify trim retrofit.
