The Schlage L9082L is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and two-piece anti-friction tongue to resist wear from constant use and abuse.
This universal lock case supports ten functions in one body and accommodates beveled doors via floating mounting tabs. Field-reversible handing eliminates the need to open the case.
