The DormaKaba Simplex LR8148B-03-41 is a mechanical pushbutton lock designed for facilities managers and building owners who need keyless access control between public and private areas. With no keys, cards, computers, or batteries required, this lock eliminates management overhead while allowing combinations to be changed in seconds without removal from the door.
This lock fits standard 86 mortise preparations on wood or metal doors (1.75 to 2.25 inches thick) and features ADA-compliant fixed levers, a 2.75 inch backrest, and a 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating. It accepts small-format interchangeable cores (Best or equivalents) and large-format removable cores from Medeco, ASSA, Yale, Abloy, Corbin Russwin, Schlage, and Sargent.
