The Schlage LV9056L is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, all-metal zinc dichromate-plated working parts, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue designed to withstand constant use and abuse without compromising security or operation.
This universal lock case accommodates ten functions in one housing and is field-reversible for either hand without opening the case. Compatible with standard mortise lock applications, the LV9056L includes a break-away spindle for easy replacement and a fail-secure fusible link for fire safety.
