The Schlage L9056R is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and two-piece anti-friction tongue to resist wear from constant daily use and abuse.
This universal lock case supports ten functions and field-reversible handing without disassembly, simplifying installation and retrofit projects. Compatible with standard mortise applications on beveled doors.
