The Schlage LV9056R is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and anti-friction design that withstand constant use and abuse without compromising security or operation.
This universal lock case supports ten functions in one body and accepts Schlage L Series trim. The break-away spindle prevents spindle manipulation, while the fail-secure fusible link activates in fire emergencies. Field-reversible handing and floating mounting tabs simplify installation on beveled doors.
