The Schlage LV9070B is an extra-heavy-duty mortise lock built for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. This Grade 1 certified lock features a fully wrapped steel case, all-metal zinc dichromate-plated components, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue designed to withstand constant daily use and abuse without compromising security or function.
The universal lock case supports ten functions and accommodates beveled door edges with floating mounting tabs. Field-reversible handing eliminates the need to open the case for installation adjustments.
