The Schlage LV9070L is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and anti-friction technology to withstand constant daily use and abuse without compromising security or operation.
This mortise lock is universal with ten functions available in one case and offers field-reversible handing without opening the lock. It includes a break-away spindle for safety, hub blocking plate against spindle manipulation, and fail-secure fire mode via spring-loaded fusible link.
