The Schlage LV9070R is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock engineered for high-traffic commercial environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue to withstand constant daily use and abuse.
This universal lock case accommodates ten functions in one design with field-reversible handing, floating mounting tabs for beveled doors, and external spring cages for simple trim retrofit. Compatible with standard mortise lock applications.
