The Schlage LV9080T is an extra heavy-duty mortise lock designed for high-traffic institutional environments including schools, hospitals, and factories. Built to ANSI Grade 1 standards, it features a heavy-gauge steel case, zinc dichromate-plated components, and a two-piece anti-friction tongue that resists wear from constant daily use and abuse.
This lock accommodates ten functions in one universal case and includes field-reversible handing, a break-away spindle for security and easy replacement, and a hub blocking plate to discourage spindle manipulation.
