Description
The Falcon MA521B mortise lock is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade solution for offices, hospitals, and educational facilities requiring reliable security and frequent access control. Built with a cold-formed steel case and hardened steel hubs, this lock withstands constant use without fail, offering both latch bolt and 1-inch throw deadbolt protection with saw-resistant rollers.
This mortise lock accommodates standard door thickness of 1-3/8" to 2-1/2" with a 2-3/4" backset and features an interchangeable core (SFIC-compatible) for easy re-keying without removing the lock body. Right-hand handing is standard; left-hand and field-reversible options available. Meets ANSI/BHMA 156.13 Series 1000 and carries a 3-hour UL label.
