Description
The Major BB-200 Blockade Bar is the straightforward answer for securing an outswing door, where conventional bars and most supplemental locks cannot work because the door opens away from you. Brackets mount to the frame, the bar drops across the door, and the door is physically barred against being forced open.
Warehouses, storage rooms, shop back doors, and sheds are where these go. The bar removes completely when not in use, and installation is basic drilling and screwing into the frame. It is a mechanical solution with nothing to pick, bump, or bypass from outside. Important: use it only on doors that are not required exits while the bar is in place.
- BB-200-36: For 36'' Outswing Door. Dimension of red bar is 1 1/4" sq. x 38 1/2" OAL. Dimension of gray bar is 1" sq. x 33 1/2" OAL
- BB-200-42: For 42'' Outswing Door. Dimension of red bar is 1 1/4" sq. x 44 1/2" OAL. Dimension of gray bar is 1" sq. x 39 1/2" OAL
- BB-200-48: For 48'' Outswing Door. Dimension of red bar is 1 1/4" sq. x 50 1/2" OAL. Dimension of gray bar is 1" sq. x 45 1/2" OAL
- BB-200-72: For 72'' Outswing Double Door. Dimension of red bar is 1 1/4" sq. x 74 1/2" OAL. Dimension of gray bar is 1" sq. x (2) 33 1/2" OAL
