The Sargent 80 Series MD8606E is a Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for metal doors in secure facilities requiring durable, maintenance-free egress hardware. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and institutional settings, this left-hand reverse device delivers exceptional cycle and strength performance while meeting ANSI/BHMA standards and fire-rated requirements.
The MD8606E fits 1-3/4" minimum thickness doors with stile width of 4-1/2" or greater, and includes standard hex-key dogging on non-rated models. Available rails accommodate door widths from 24" to 48". Electric options including delayed egress, alarmed exit, and latch retraction support specialized applications. Contact E.D.
