The Sargent 80 Series MD8606J is a rim exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. This right-hand reverse (RHR) unit delivers ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 performance with modular construction, few moving parts, and maintenance-free operation, ideal for facilities demanding durability and security over the building's lifetime.
Compatible with 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors and 4-1/2" minimum stile width, this device uses a J Rail sized for 37-42" door widths (factory-cut to your exact width). Paired with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes, it includes hex-key dogging and standard machine screw fasteners.
