The Sargent 80 Series MD8613E is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for metal doors in high-traffic commercial and institutional facilities. This rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements and features modular construction with minimal moving parts, delivering maintenance-free operation and reliable security throughout the building's life.
Designed for left-hand reverse (LHR) swing on 32D strikes, this device installs on 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick metal doors with 4-1/2" minimum stile width. Rail sizing accommodates door widths from 24" to 48", and optional electric features including delayed egress, alarmed exit, and latch retraction are available for specialized applications.
