The Sargent 80 Series MD8615E is a heavy-duty rim exit device engineered for commercial metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Built with modular construction and minimal moving parts, it delivers maintenance-free operation across high-traffic facilities, schools, hospitals, and office buildings where code-compliant emergency egress is essential.
This left-hand reverse (LHR) model suits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick with 4 1/2" minimum stile width. Rails are factory-cut to your door width (E, F, J, or G options for 24-48" openings). Optional electric features include alarm, photoluminescent coating, delayed egress, and remote latch retraction.
