The Sargent 80 Series MD8615G is a heavy-duty rim exit device built for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic buildings, this right-hand reverse (RHR) device delivers reliable panic egress control with modular construction and minimal maintenance needs over the life of the building.
This model fits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick and includes top and bottom strikes (panic and fire-rated compatible). Multiple rail sizes (E, F, J, G) accommodate door widths from 24" to 48", with optional electric features including delayed egress, alarm, photoluminescent coating, and latch monitoring.
