Description

The Sargent MD8643E is a heavy-duty exit device built for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and reliability. Designed for facilities, schools, and commercial buildings, this left-hand reverse rim exit device provides fail-safe egress while deterring unauthorized entry. Its modular construction and minimal moving parts eliminate maintenance headaches and deliver decades of dependable performance.

This device fits 1-3/4" minimum metal doors and installs with standard machine screw fasteners on 4-1/2" minimum stile widths.
