The Sargent 80 Series MD8643G is a Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for high-security commercial and institutional applications. Ideal for metal doors requiring reliable panic hardware, it delivers maintenance-free operation with modular construction, few moving parts, and superior cycle and strength performance that exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model fits metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick with 4 1/2" minimum stile width and includes standard hex key dogging. Compatible with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes, electric options, and door widths 24" to 48" via four rail sizes.
