The Sargent MD8643J is a Grade 1 exit device built for high-traffic commercial and institutional doors. Designed for metal doors 1.75 inches or thicker, this rim-mounted panic bar delivers code-compliant emergency egress with modular construction, minimal maintenance, and exceptional durability across the life of your building.
This left-hand reverse model fits 24 to 32 inch door widths and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike (panic and fire rated). Customize with optional alarm, photoluminescent coating, illuminated touchpad, latch monitoring, delayed egress, or electric dogging.
