The Sargent 80 Series MD8646F is a heavy-duty rim exit device engineered for metal doors requiring maximum security and durability. Ideal for commercial buildings, schools, and facilities with strict life-safety codes, this Grade 1 device provides reliable emergency egress while exceeding ANSI/BHMA standards for strength and cycle performance.
This LHR (left-hand reverse) model fits doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with F-rail configuration for 33" to 36" door widths.
