The Sargent 80 Series MD8673F is a Grade 1 rim exit device engineered for metal doors requiring maximum durability and security throughout the building lifecycle. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, this device combines modular construction with minimal maintenance to deliver reliable panic bar egress control that exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model fits 1-3/4" minimum thickness metal doors and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike for panic and fire-rated applications. Choose from E, F, J, or G rails based on your door width (24-48"). Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarms, and remote latch retraction.
