The Sargent 80 Series MD8673G-12V is a heavy-duty exit device designed for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic buildings, it exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards and offers rim configuration with 12V electric options, dogging, and modular construction that minimizes maintenance while maximizing durability throughout the building's life.
This left-hand reverse (LHR) device fits metal doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick with minimum 4-1/2" stile width. Rails are available in four sizes (E, F, J, G) and factory-cut to your door width. The 80 Series supports delayed egress, alarmed exit, and electric latch retraction.
