The Sargent 80 Series MD8673J-12V is a heavy-duty exit device built for commercial buildings requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 certified security and durability. Engineered for metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness, this left-hand reverse (LHR) rim-mount device features modular construction with minimal moving parts, reducing maintenance while delivering reliable emergency egress control for decades.
This unit ships with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes suitable for panic and fire-rated applications, standard hex-key dogging, and stainless-steel top bolts. Compatible with J-rail systems (37-42" door widths), it mounts at 41" centerline from finished floor.
