The Sargent 80 Series exit device (MD8674G-12V) is a heavy-duty panic bar designed for metal doors requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Ideal for commercial facilities, schools, and high-traffic environments, this rim-mounted device with left-hand reverse (LHR) configuration and 32D finish provides maintenance-free operation with modular construction and minimal moving parts.
Compatible with metal doors 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" thick; mounting fasteners and stainless steel top bolt supplied. Available in four rail sizes (E, F, J, G) to fit doors 24" to 48" wide, factory-cut to specification. Electric options include alarm, delayed egress, latch monitoring, and remote retraction.
