It adds auxiliary I/O functionality to enable advanced door control, device monitoring, and automated action sequences. The NXT-4X4 connects via RS-485 to your existing system and supports up to 8 inputs and 8 outputs per trunk, with reassignable relays compatible with NXT-2D and NXT-4D controllers.
