The Von Duprin QEL9827EO 3 is a UL-listed surface-mounted vertical rod panic exit device designed for single and double doors in commercial buildings, hospitals, and emergency facilities. This Grade 1 ANSI A156.3-2008 certified device provides reliable emergency egress with a smooth mechanism case and fits standard hollow metal door cutouts (86 or 161 inch).
Compatible with most hollow metal frame configurations, the device installs on the interior surface of the door leaf. Non-handed design works on both left and right swing doors unless special dogging, signal switches, or weather-resistant options are selected.
