The DormaKaba Simplex R8146C-05-41 is a mechanical pushbutton lock designed for controlled access between public and private areas without keys, cards, or batteries. Ideal for offices, schools, and commercial facilities, this lock lets you change combinations in seconds without removing it from the door, eliminating key management headaches.
This lock installs on standard 86-mortise prepared wood or metal doors (1.75" to 2.25" thick) with a 2.75" backset and 0.75" latch. It features ADA-compliant fixed levers, a 3-hour UL/ULC fire rating, and supports interchangeable cores (small format) and removable cores (large format: Medeco, ASSA, Yale, Abloy, Corbin Russwin, Schlage, Sargent).
