The Sargent 1956-8813E is a reversible rim exit device for standard wood and metal doors 1-3/4" thick. It provides single-point latching in single or double-door configurations with mullions, delivering Grade 1 durability and quiet, secure operation ideal for commercial buildings and emergency egress applications.
This device fits E-Rail door widths of 24" to 32" with no cutting required for 32" doors. It is ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 certified and UL Fire and Panic listed.
