The Sargent 1956-8843F is a Grade 1 rim exit device designed for standard wood and metal doors up to 1-3/4" thick. This reversible device delivers single-point latching, quiet operation, and industry-leading durability for single and double door applications with mullions, ideal for commercial buildings requiring reliable panic hardware.

This model fits E-rail doors 24" to 32" with no cutting required for 32" doors. ANSI A156.3 Grade 1 certified and UL Fire and Panic listed for code compliance.
