The Falcon SC81A is a medium-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for light- to medium-traffic interior and exterior applications. Ideal for schools, retail shops, restaurants and office buildings, it controls closing speed on side doors, closets and bathrooms while ensuring ADA compliance and preventing slamming.
The SC81A features a non-handed design that fits either left- or right-swinging doors and tri-mount capability for hinge-side, top-jamb or parallel-arm installation. It includes field-adjustable spring sizes (1-6), separate controls for general speed and latch speed, and a 1-1/4 inch heat-treated steel piston for durability.
