Description
The Falcon SC81A is a medium-duty surface-mounted door closer engineered for light- to medium-duty applications in schools, retail shops, restaurants, and office buildings. Its non-handed design and adjustable spring mechanism (sizes 1-6) provide flexible installation on interior and exterior side doors, closets, and bathrooms while ensuring ADA compliance and preventing door slamming.
This closer features a single-piece cast aluminum body with 1-1/4" heat-treated steel pistons, rated to ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 standards. Tri-mount capability accommodates hinge-side, top-jamb, or parallel-arm installations. Separate adjustable controls for general speed, latch speed, and back check allow field tuning. Contact E.D.
