The Falcon T581BD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic and heavy-abuse institutional applications. It exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements and features a compression spring design that delivers reliable performance in demanding environments like schools, hospitals, and office buildings where durability is non-negotiable.
This lock accepts standard manufacturer cylinders and allows tool-free re-keying for easy retrofitting and maintenance. Fits standard door thicknesses of 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" with optional adapters available.
