The Falcon T581HD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic institutional and commercial applications where durability matters. With a compression spring that exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements, this lock handles heavy abuse while accepting any manufacturer's removable cylinder for simple retrofitting and re-keying.
Standard for 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" doors with 2-3/4" backset; adapters and alternatives available for different thicknesses and backsets. Brass or zinc-plated steel construction resists rust, and all components ship pre-assembled for quick installation.
