The Falcon T581PD is an extra heavy-duty Grade 1 cylindrical lock engineered for high-traffic and heavy-abuse institutional applications. With a compression spring that exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 testing requirements, this lock delivers reliable performance and security for commercial doors, schools, hospitals, and other demanding environments.
The T581PD accepts any manufacturer's cylinder and features removable cylinders for quick re-keying, making retrofit installations straightforward. Compatible with standard 1-3/4" to 2-1/8" doors (adapter kits available for thinner doors), it comes with 2-3/4" backset standard and 2-3/8" as an option.
