The Norton 8301 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for high-traffic commercial interiors and exteriors. Built with a cast aluminum body and rack-and-pinion mechanism, it handles up to 10 million cycles and suits doors of either hand, eliminating the need for separate left and right units.
This closer features adjustable spring power (sizes 1-6), independent hex-key valves for sweep and latch speed control, and backcheck adjustment for smooth, controlled closing in extreme temperatures from -40°F to high heat.
