The Norton 1600 Series is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for commercial aluminum storefront doors and high-traffic applications. Built with a cast aluminum body and rack-and-pinion mechanism, it delivers proven reliability and smooth operation for nearly any door type. Non-handed design and adjustable spring sizes (1-6) make it adaptable to different closing speeds and door weights.
This closer supports up to 180° swing and offers independent control valves for sweep, latch, and back-check functions.
