The Norton 8301 is a heavy-duty surface-mounted door closer designed for interior and exterior applications where reliable, consistent performance matters. Built with a cast aluminum body and rack-and-pinion mechanism, it handles over 10 million cycles and operates dependably in temperatures from -40°F to extreme heat, making it ideal for high-traffic commercial and institutional facilities.
The 8301 is non-handed, fitting either left or right hand doors, and projects only 2-1/8" from the door surface with its standard slim-line plastic cover.
