The Sargent 80 Series WD8606F is a heavy-duty exit device engineered for commercial and institutional buildings requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Designed for metal doors 1-3/4" minimum thickness with right-hand reverse (RHR) configuration and 32D finish, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA standards for cycle and strength, offering maintenance-free operation with minimal moving parts.
This unit includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike rated for panic and fire-rated applications. Compatible with doors 24" to 32" wide (E rail, factory-cut if width provided). Hex key dogging is standard on non-fire-rated versions. Electric options like delayed egress, alarms, and latch monitoring are available.
