The Sargent 80 Series WD8606G is a heavy-duty exit device built for metal doors requiring Grade 1 security and reliability. Designed for facilities that demand maintenance-free performance and compliance with fire and panic safety codes, this rim-mounted device exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 standards and suits door widths from 24" to 48" with field-selectable rail sizes.
This left-hand reverse model installs on 1-3/4" minimum metal doors and includes a 650 top strike and 606 bottom strike for panic and fire-rated applications. Modular construction minimizes maintenance, and optional electric features (alarm, photoluminescent coating, latch monitoring, and delayed egress) are available for specialized needs.
