The Sargent 80 Series WD8610E is a heavy-duty exit device built for commercial buildings requiring ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security and durability. Designed for metal doors 1.75 inches or thicker, this rim-mounted device features modular construction with minimal moving parts, delivering maintenance-free operation and reliable egress control across high-traffic facilities, schools, and secure environments.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model ships with 650 top and 606 bottom strikes (panic and fire-rated), standard hex key dogging, and a 41-inch centerline installation height. Optional electric configurations support alarm, photoluminescent coatings, delayed egress, and remote latch retraction for specialized applications.
