The Sargent 80 Series WD8610G is a heavy-duty rim exit device engineered for metal doors in commercial and institutional buildings. It exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements and features modular construction with minimal moving parts, delivering maintenance-free operation and reliable security for high-traffic facilities requiring panic hardware certification.
This right-hand reverse (RHR) model fits doors 1-3/4" to 2-1/4" thick and accommodates door widths from 24" to 48" with four rail sizes. Optional electric features include delayed egress, alarm, latch monitoring, and photoluminescent or illuminated touchpad guidance.
